These are the nine faults that arrive at the workshop every week. If you recognise the symptom, the repair is usually between €80 and €220 and leaves the workshop in under a week.

Process
You disconnect it following the guide I share by WhatsApp. Pack and ship via standard courier. Around €6 from mainland Spain.
On arrival I bench-test under real load: 12 V, 230 V mains, alternator D+ signal, fridge channel, coupling relay. I locate the exact fault.
I call or message with the identified fault and the final price. From €80. If you decline, I return the unit (you only pay return shipping).
I replace the damaged component with equivalent or higher-quality parts than the original. 24 h load test. Return with 3-month warranty.

Delivered repair
When finishing the repair I record a video of the Elektroblock connected and working so you can see it before paying. It's the normal flow. Real WhatsApp conversation capture with a customer, unedited.
"Great thanks for the video. I'll do the Bizum tomorrow."

The technician
I've been repairing industrial and motorhome electronics for years. The Schaudt Elektroblock is the most complex control unit fitted in European motorhomes, and the most frequent one seen in official service centres.
I repair at component level: I identify the damaged chip, relay or trace and replace it. I don't swap the whole board. That's what lets me offer a €80 price where the official service charges €150 and a distributor sells a new unit for €500.
Every repair is tested 24 hours under real load before leaving the workshop. If it fails again for the same reason within the 3-month warranty, I repair it at no cost.
Frequently asked
Depends on the fault. Simple repairs (internal fuse, resoldering, relay replacement) from €80. Charger or full-board repair between €120 and €180. Diagnosis is free: if you don't accept the quote, I return the unit and you only pay the return shipping.
Average 3 to 5 days from the moment it leaves your home until it returns repaired. 48 h outbound courier, 48 h bench diagnosis, WhatsApp approval, 24-48 h actual repair with load testing, plus return shipping.
3 months on the repaired fault. If it fails again for the same reason, I cover part and labour at no cost. Warranty doesn't cover different faults or faulty vehicle installations.
Almost all of those fitted in European motorhomes: EBL 29, 30, 31, 40, 99 (all variants), 100, 101, 102, 119, 208, 211, 220, 226, 251, 252, 263, 266, 267, 269, 271, plus the EBL 4-105 and 4-281 series. If your model isn't listed, ask me on WhatsApp with the exact reference.
When you open an enquiry on WhatsApp I'll send a photo guide for your model. In general: disconnect the auxiliary battery, remove the top white connectors, loosen the three terminals (red/brown/black) and remove the plate screws. 15-20 minutes if you haven't done it before.
Yes. I work with customers across Europe. International shipping is arranged by you with the courier of your choice. Cost is around €20-€40 outbound + return depending on country. Repair and warranty are the same.
In 90% of cases, yes. A new Elektroblock from the official distributor costs between €450 and €700 depending on model, and many are discontinued. Repairing yours keeps compatibility with your existing wiring and LT panel, and saves the hunt for a replacement.
No, I'm not an authorised distributor. I'm an independent electronics technician with proven experience across hundreds of Elektroblock repairs. My advantages over the official service are price, turnaround time and English-speaking support.
Direct contact
I'll tell you whether it's a common fault, the indicative price and how to pack it. Same-day reply. No commitment.
