Process
How to send your Elektroblock for repair.
Six steps, five to eight days total. From the moment you message me on WhatsApp until the repaired unit is back in your motorhome.
- 01Reply the same day
You message me on WhatsApp
Send me the exact Elektroblock model (EBL 99, 101, 220…) and a photo of the unit. I'll confirm whether it's a common fault, the indicative price and send you the packaging guide.
- 0215-20 minutes
You disconnect the Elektroblock from the vehicle
With the motorhome at rest and both batteries disconnected: release the top white connectors, loosen the three main terminals (red/brown/black) and remove the plate screws. 15-20 minutes the first time.
- 0324-48 h in transit
You pack it and send by courier
Double-wall cardboard box, EBL wrapped in bubble wrap or foam, inside an anti-static bag or aluminium foil. Send via SEUR, Correos Express, GLS, DHL or any courier. All work.
- 0448 h from receipt
I receive it and run diagnosis
On arrival I bench-test it under real load: 12 V, 230 V, alternator D+ signal, fridge channel, coupling relay. I locate the exact fault and call you with a fixed quote.
- 05Same day as the call
You approve the quote
If you accept, advance payment by Bizum or SEPA transfer (simpler for both). If you don't want to proceed, I return the EBL and you only pay the return shipping.
- 063-5 workshop days
I repair, 24 h load testing, and ship it back
I replace the damaged component with equivalent or higher-quality parts than the original. The unit undergoes 24 h real-load testing before going back to you. Shipped with tracking.
Packaging
How to pack your Elektroblock properly.
The EBL isn't fragile like glass, but it's sensitive to hard knocks and electrostatic discharge. Good packaging is the difference between it arriving intact or arriving with a capacitor knocked off its pads.
- 01
Double-wall cardboard box (ideal), or regular box reinforced with tape along all edges.
- 02
Inside: bubble wrap around the whole Elektroblock, at least 2 cm margin on all six sides.
- 03
Over the bubble wrap: anti-static bag or 2-3 wraps of aluminium foil (prevents ESD on the PCB).
- 04
Fillers: crumpled newspaper, foam or polystyrene chips so the unit doesn't shift inside the box.
- 05
Don't put loose fuses in without a small bag — they get lost in the filler and it's a pain to find them.
- 06
Mark the box: FRAGILE · ELECTRONICS, with a thick marker on both large sides.
Couriers
Which courier to use.
You arrange shipping with the courier you prefer. Approximate prices from mainland Spain for a 2-3 kg parcel (that's roughly what a packed Elektroblock weighs):
| Courier | Indicative price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| SEUR 24h | ~ €8 | My recommendation. Fast and with reliable tracking. |
| Correos Express | ~ €7 | Good option, slightly slower. |
| GLS | ~ €8 | Equivalent to SEUR, small time-slot difference. |
| DHL Parcel | ~ €10 | For international shipments (UK, France, Germany…). |
[ International shipping (UK, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany…): €20-€40 outbound + return. Repair and warranty identical. ]
